A new startup named Lily’s SKY Jewelry was in need of branding to represent the business. Primarily targeting Latin American young women, the brand wanted a panda mascot that was “cute” to the target market.

Creating an icon around the brand came from a number of influences. The first influence came from the client who wanted a cute panda as the mascot. Next we had to give the panda items that would convey jewelry to the viewer. A gold necklace and crown are used to convey that idea. Gold was chosen as the main color due to the contrast with black over a metal like silver.
