What is a Linktree?
Originating in 2016 when two brothers identified a common problem with Instagram. How exactly does one link more than one thing? How do we get these links to last longer? The answer was simple, they created Linktree.
A freemium service for Instagram that according to Linktree themselves is described by the following statement.
“A Linktree not only points followers in the direction of your choosing — to your other social profiles, eCommerce store, or content you want to share — but it helps hold followers within your online ecosystem for longer. It allows users to share more, sell more, curate more and grow more.”
However, what exactly is linktree? Well think of it as a landing page regarding all the links you want to post throughout your Instagram career. No code required.

Conclusion
Linktree is a simple-to-use service for social media platforms that allows users to bypass link restrictions. Serving as a web page, Linktree houses all website links that the user loads onto their platform. While Linktree works in certain use cases, I hesitate to recommend Linktree if someone already has a website. If you do not have a website, and no plans to keep one either or even edit one frequently, then Linktree makes sense. In any other use case however, it does not.
